Class Information

I've listed information below that will answer many of your questions about our classroom.  If you find that there's information that's not included that you would find helpful, please let me know and I'll add it.  Topics are listed in alphabetical order.

Birthday Celebrations
Birthdays are such an exciting time for kids!  If you choose to send in a treat for your child's birthday, the birthday boy or girl will share them during lunch.  You're welcome to send treats in at the beginning of the day, or to bring them at lunch time and join us! Due to food allergies, we ask that you send in store-bought items that have an ingredient list attached. We currently  have 20 students in Ms. Poole's homeroom and 19 in Mrs. Powers' homeroom. Thank you!

Book Orders

If you'd like to order books online, our Scholastic class code is TL8Q8.  You can place orders at http://store.scholastic.com/  I'll also send Scholastic Book Order flyers home once a month.

Books that you purchase through Scholastic help our class earn points that we can use to get free books for our classroom library!

Lunch

We have lunch each day from 11:10 to 11:45 in the classroom.  We love to have parents join us for lunch; just be sure to sign in at the front desk and get a visitor badge.
